The NYC Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk is on December 7 in Riverside Park. Join Team Diamond, get out there and run for the people for whom every step is a painful one. You wouldn’t just be running or walking either, you would be helping others and have great fun at the same time! To inspire you to join us for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk, we’ll feature Fitness Thursday. Check back for tips on training for a 5k race, including nutrition and activewear fashion.
The Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk is a national Holiday Themed Event and participants are encouraged to form teams, dress up in festive outfits, tie bells to their shoelaces, raise arthritis awareness and celebrate the season by giving to the Arthritis Foundation to help those who suffer each day with the pain of arthritis.
There are three months until the 5k Jingle Bell Run/Walk so there is time to start training and raising funds. It doesn’t matter how fast you run or walk, it’s a race to raise funds so we can help achieve the New York goal of $150,000 for the Arthritis Foundation by race time on December 7.
All you have to do to get started is register for the 5k Jingle Bell Run/Walk here and they will lead you through the next steps. We’ll be cheering you on every week by posting incentives, helpful tips and ways to really make the most of your effort. It will be fun!
