I need to take a deposition and the witness is in West Virginia. What should I do?
Diamond Reporting can handle out-of-town depositions expediently and efficiently. Diamond’s video conferencing technology enables a client or witness to sit in an office and be questioned by attorneys in another city. All words and images of the proceedings are clearly seen and heard, and are recorded and transcribed as though everyone is in the same room. If desired, the video images may be synchronized and included as part of the transcribed document. (And, if video conferencing is not a preferred option, Diamond can efficiently arrange for out-of-town reporting services.)
I hate to carry my heavy 300-page transcript back and forth to court, but I still want to work from hard copy. How can Diamond help?
Transcripts can be digitally scanned and then clearly printed, eight pages to a sheet (four to a side, front and back). Many clients enjoy the portability of this condensed output, which includes everything the larger full-size output does, including the transcript indices.
How do I find all occurrences of an important name in the midst of a voluminous transcript?
Besides providing you with a verbatim transcript of the deposition, Diamond keeps you organized by creating and appending a full word index to every transcript, indicating where (by page and line number) in the document you can find all important names, places, and other searchable words, terms and phrases.
